Chocolate Overnight Oats

The absolute winner of all our Dairy-free Kickstarter Live Events. This is the first dish participants try. I usually get photos in the following days showing their beautiful re-creations. What's inside

  • ¼ cup banana (≈ ½ a large banana)

  • ¼ cup dairy free yogurt (like coconut or soy yogurt)

  • ½ cup oats

  • 4 tsp cacao

  • Fresh fruit (like blueberries)

How to

  1. Mash the banana with a fork.

  2. Place the banana, yogurt, oats and cacao into a bowl and mix until everything is well combined. Fill a jar with the mixture and refrigerate overnight.

  3. In the morning add fruits on top and enjoy! – It’s the perfect on-the-go brekkie.

Kitchen Hack

If you use frozen fruit, add the fruit directly to the oat mix so it can defrost.

Swap

  • You can swap the oats for a mix of ¼ cup buckwheat kernels & ¼ cup sunflower seeds.

  • For a WFPB version: You can swap the yogurt for your favourite nut mylk (or water).
